Fit-out
In very exciting news, we have seen a major reduction in our construction shortfall, with the deficit now down to $753k, and no need for an interest bearing bank loan! We also recently launched our fitout campaign, following 6 months of work by the property committee to think through the operational side of moving into our new building.

Youth Group Spring Fair
Latimer youth groups recent spring Fair raised over $13,000 for the cutout of the new home for Latimer!

Steelwork, framing and roof cladding
Geoff (Project Director) has been visiting the construction site for our new home. Framing continues to be installed, and roof cladding is almost ready to go up, too!
Starting to take shape!
It is a very busy day on site today with even more obvious progress since I popped out on Sunday to have a look. The building is really starting to take shape! In the attached photo you will see that the framing is all up for the meeting bubble…
The foundations are laid!
The rest of the foundations were poured and completed on Tuesday, 2 September. You can see the hall, the youth area behind, and the kids zone all with steel up and walls progressing. Activity is happening in all parts of the building now. Very Exciting!
