Busy start to 2026
We had our first formal project meeting of the new year on-site yesterday.
Work continued over the Summer holidays, but at a slower pace as many subcontractors took a break. Now, though, the car park is overflowing with vehicles! Lots of tradies are back on site working, and work is progressing on interior services like electrical and air conditioning systems, and the rest of the roofing material is on site, with the last section covering the main auditorium, ready to be installed.
Work is now beginning to advance outside the main building area, including the Johns Rd carpark and some small structures like the sprinkler room.
The sprinkler room may not be as visually inspiring as the main building, but definitely necessary for a safe and functional church!
